Pastor Donna L. Thomas 

Pastor Donna L. Thomas is a woman after God’s own heart. A native of Belize,

she is the fourth of five siblings. Pastor Donna has a passion to counseling children,

women, couples, and families, in emotional healing. Her calling on her life is to

serve using her ministry gifts of helps and compassion.  She graduated with a

doctorate in clinical psychology. Pastor Donna is called to teach, lead, and help find

hope in this broken world. For ten years, Pastor Donna served faithfully in several

ministries at First Church of God Christian Life center in Evanston, Illinois. She is the

mother of one son Mitchum. She is an awesome woman of God who was ordained

alongside her husband Pastor Rick Thomas on July 27, 2012. Pastor Donna is an

inspirational leader, speaker and teacher that facilitate a women’s ministry in teaching

women emotional healing and spiritual wellness.

 

Pastor Donna is happily married for eight years to Pastor Rick Thomas who are

the founding pastors of Greater Works Church of God. They share a unique and

inspiring relationship whose marriage is filled with genuine love and passion that

they express openly. The transparent affectional bond they have developed

illuminates the intimacy of Christ in a Christian marriage.  Along with her man

of God, Pastor Donna hopes to influence countless lives one soul at a time worldwide.

Wearing several hats in and outside the family, Pastor Donna works strongly with

her husband in continuing to develop ministries that God has placed in their hearts.

The word says, “I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase

(1 Corinthians 3:6-7). So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that

watereth; but God that giveth the increase.”God continues to use her alongside her husband to sow and water seeds in the lives of many from all walks of life.

 

Pastor Donna has more than a decade of teaching and counseling. She enjoys encouraging others to maximize their life potential. She is a genuine, warm, compassionate, and a patient leader that enjoys helping others experience God’s life changing power.

Pastor Donna leads the Greater Works Church of God- "Remarkable Women of God" Women's Ministry that sponsors a weekly bible study and a free monthly Women's meeting to pour into the lives of women from all lifestyles.
